Proco RAT

본인의 기타 인생에 있어서 가장 처음이자 제일 좋아했던 디스토션은 바로 Proco RAT!

몇년전 민경민 사장이 모디해준 넘. True Bypass, LED 색깔과 전원부 극성을 바꾸었고..... 이후에 DIY로 LM308N 칩으로 교체했었다는. 아침에 일어나자마자 마샬 SC20H에 물려 가지고 노는데, 잡음이..... 노브 분해후 BW-100 뿌렸는데, 별 효과가 없어 DeoxIT F5를 뿌려주니 사라졌다.....음.

대학밴드 결성후 전국규모의 합동축제 공연에서 사용, 지금 기억으론, SD-1으로 부스팅했었고, DOD Delay를 사용했던 거 같은데..... 다른 대학팀들은 그때 당시 유행했던 Boss의 멀티를 쓰면서 페달 3개 가지고 올라간 나를 약간 무시했던 거 같다.....ㅋㅋ. 암튼.

게인양이 증가하면 Fuzz 같은 질감이지만, 부스팅 해주면 강력한 즁즁이가 된다는. 그때 Hold The Line, 사랑할수록, Hungry For Heaven 을 공연했었는데, 뭐..... 죽여줬음. 특히 사랑할수록의 솔로톤에서는 몽글몽글하고 부드러운 게인톤이 일품이었다는. 본인피셜이지만......

해외의 리뷰를 보면..... 역시나 독특한 퍼즈반 디스토션반 이란다.....ㅋㅋ.
