기타지판에 레몬오일 먹이기

날씨가 건조해졌습니다. 책상위에 습도계를 보니 47%라고 나오네요. 간만에 가지고 있는 기타들 지판에 레몬오일을 먹여줬습니다. 제가 하는 방법은...... 면봉에 레몬오일을 묻혀서 지판에 발라주는 건데요, 너무 흠뻑 젖지 않게 표면만 살짝 젖을 정도만 발라주면 됩니다. 어제 저녁에 작업하고 아침에 보니 거의 다 말라서 깨끗하고 촉촉한 지판이 되었지요......

레몬오일을 충분히 지판위에 고르게 바른 후, 사이트마다 차이는 있지만, 대략 5-10분정도 스며들게 놔둔 다음 헝겊으로 깨끗이 닦아내는 것이 일반적인 방법.

 

허나, 기타줄을 교환할 필요가 없다면, 면봉으로 플렛 앞뒤의 먼지나 때 등을 닦아내면서 오일을 살짝 묻힌 후 건조시키는 것도 괜찮은 방법이라고 생각됩니다. 1년에 한두번 정도만 하면 된다고.
