Green-tinted sixties mind Cover

과거의 기억을 되살려 JMP-1 + Power Station 으로 레코딩. 양손태핑 부분만 빼면 사실 솔로잉은 별거 없고...... 기타사운드를 줄인 MR을 좌우로 패닝하고 기타트랙을 중앙에 넣었음. 

가사가 궁금해서 찾아봤는데, 녹색이 마리화나라는 주장에 대해 다음과 같은 반박이 있었다.

No it isn't about pot. Sorry. The green tint is the movie screen filters and tints of the 60s. Mr. Big even mentioned this in an interview. You know, how 1960s films have a green tint to them. Yet, really, this is a tribute to the 60s famous women / actresses. Of course, the biggest being Marilyn Monroe. The hint is "she just woke up, but she's still tired," "maybe tell the press you died." It's their semi-sorta version of "Candle in the Wind," and how she was just a little engine for the machines of Hollywood.

60년대 영화가 녹색을 많이 띄고 있고, 마릴린 몬로로 대표되는 유명한 여배우에 대한 헌정이라고. 또 다른 주장으로는, 

Mr.Big's Green-Tinted Sixties Mind lyrics indicate that the singer is singing about a woman who 's unhappy, can't cope with her problems and is nostalgic for the 1960's. Janis Joplin was a famous singer of that time and died of a drug overdose. Green or blue tinted sunglasses were very popular and this is where the title comes from.

불행한 가수를 지칭하며 60년대에 대한 향수를 노래했다고. 아마도 제니스 조플린이 아닐까.... 라는. 그 당시엔 초록색 또는 푸른색 선글래스가 유행이었고, 가사가 그걸 말한 거라나 뭐라나.
