브라질 밴드 'Almah'

Almah

브라질 메틀밴드. 이전 Angra의 보컬이었던 Edu Falaschi의 프로젝트 밴드로 2006년 결성. 2006년부터 3장의 앨범을 발매한 후 솔로 프로젝트에서 정식 밴드로 전환. 2011년 10월 Motion이라는 앨범을 발매했다. 이 앨범은 상파울로 Norcal 스튜디오에서 녹음되었고, Jochem Jacobs가 믹싱, 마스터링했다. 2013년엔 Unfold 앨범을 냈고, 2015년엔 컴필레이션 앨범인 Within The Last Eleven Lines를 공개했다. 셀프타이틀 앨범인 1집 Almah는 Falaschi가 보컬외에 모든 작곡, 어쿠스틱 기타, 키보드 및 오케스트라 어레인지, 프로듀싱까지 맡은 앨범이었다.

데뷔앨범은 성공적이었고, Burrn지에서는 Falaschi를 최고의 보컬이라고도 했다.

두번째 앨범인 Fragile Equality가 녹음되었던 시기는 2007년부터 Angra가 2년간 활동이 없었기에, Edu Falaschi는 Almah에만 집중할 수 있었다. Fragile Equality의 컨셉은 Edu가 공동집필하기도 한 책에 기초한 ‘우주의 모든 요소들간의 밸런스’ 에 관한 것이었다. 책 제목은 ‘Fragile Equality – Equinox-Book 1 (만화 스타일) 이었고, Fragile Equality의 반주 CD와 함께 나중에 발매될 예정이었다. 브라질 발매 첫날 모든 앨범이 판매되었고, 2008년 최고의 브라질 밴드, 2008 최고의 앨범, 2008 최고의 앨범표지로도 선정되었다.
